Veggie Juice

So clearly I am on the juice bandwagon! I came into the office with my pineapple and watermelon creation when my colleague asked me the contents. She the proceeded to tell me about her juice and we compared notes! Her juice was a beautiful deep purple juice. After trying the juice I was hooked, the fragrance and taste were amazing. We both agreed her juice was the much healthier option containing little sugar as a result of using vegetables over too many fruits. The recipe is below, enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 carrots
  • 5 celery stalks
  • 1 beetroot
  • 2 granny smith apples

Method

  1. Place all the contents into a juicer and voila! If you are like me who invested in a whizz bang juicer which has been sitting in the cupboard collecting dust, it’s time to pull it out and put it to use.

If you don’t have a juicer, i suggest peeling the vegetables and fruit and chopping up before blending. You will need to strain it to avoid all the pulp and floaty bits!
