Watermelon & Pineapple Smoothie

I’ve been experimenting with a few new smoothie flavours and seasonal fruit and this is a great refreshing thirst quencher. The initial experimentation included pineapple, watermelon and grapefruit, however the grapefruit was extremely overbearing so I have since adapted the recipe.

Ingredients

  • ½ pineapple
  • ¼ watermelon
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 tray of icecubes
  • 1 cup of coconut water

Method

  1. Crush ice-cubes in a blender
  2. Add fruit and blender
  3. Serve immediately or place in a glass container and store in the fridge.
